The client is a national statistics institute in Africa that hired Everdelta to digitally process around 60 Millions of census forms on a very short period of time.
The project had different phases, from digitalization to data processing, data edit, data structure and delivery of the final results.
The census forms are scanned by big scanning devices that can scan thousands of forms per hour and at the same time another team works on the data validation, using advanced OCR tools, and human verification of the content.
On this phase, special consultants for data editing and data structure, take in the data and using CSPro and years of knowledge about african population create, a clean database that can be used for the years to come.
A tabulating team can then present the adequate results.
